Quad Channel DMX Fader
This design combines the results of the two capacitive touch test prototype PCBs previously created.
It consists of four 14cm capacitive touch sliders, each with it’s own backlit LED indication. Each fader maintains its last touched position, shown in the level of LEDs directly next to it. Each LED is individually driven by a dedicated constant-current driver IC and can dim with eight-bit resolution.
The board is powered by a USB-C input connector and outputs standard DMX for each fader channel. There are also six capacitive touch buttons for macros along the righthand side.
The DMX address of each fader and the multi-channel macro that should be output for each button can be programmed through a connected PC. Each macro button can be configured as latching (each press turns it on or off) or temporary (macro is active while held and inactive when released).
